This is beautiful IFBB Figure competitor and IFBB Bikini Pro Monique (Minton) Ricardo.
Monique was born on August 17th, 1984 in Portsmouth, Virginia, and at five foot, ten inches tall and one hundred and fifty pounds, she is pretty close to a modern day Amazon.
Of course growing up reading Wonder Woman comics, Amazon doesn't hold any negative connotations for me.
Monique is half Filipina and half Polish and gorgeous.

She started out doing runway modeling when she was thirteen and moved from that into fitness, focusing on figure competitions.
Figure is kinda like Bodybuilding, but without the emphasis on mass.
Monique entered the 2007 NPC California Championships and came in third place in Figure Class A.
Then she entered the 2007 NPC Gateway Classic and won Figure Class B.

There is another side to Monique though that a lot of people don't know about.
She studies Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under Eddie Ricardo and UFC star Rodrigo Nogueira.
As a matter of fact, when she was working as a bikini girl at the BSN (Bio-Engineered Supplements & Nutrition) booth in 2009, she went next door to the Naga Europa (The North American Grappling Association) and won a gold medal in the no gi division!
And if that's not good enough, she turned around and won the Middleweight class in Womens NO-GI Expert at the NAGA Texas Grappling Championship in May 2010.
Just imagine if Monique decided to leave fitness and go into MMA....

Monique Updates
The figure competitions, bikini competitions and the MMA career are gonna have to be put on hold for a bit.
Because on February 1st, 2011 Monique announced that she is pregnant.
I just hope that Monique decides to come back afterwards!
